What’s a Life Plan?
There is something wrong with this world that this question needs to be asked! Everyone plans for death, yet I am unaware of one single person that helps you plan for life. Sure, an accountant will prepare your taxes, perhaps you can ask your attorney for legal advice in planning to start a business or buy a home. If you have a large amount of money, you can even give it to a financial planner AND FOR A COMMISSION, he will help to plan your financial future. But there is no school, no course, and no book that gives you a whole life approach to planning your future. Life Planning plans every aspect of your life: Your credit, assets and liabilities. It also includes planning for future needs, both known and unconsidered. Your five year old daughter will be going to college and probably getting married. The time for planning for these events is while she is that pretty little girl, not when she is that beautiful young woman who brings home her fiance!
Certified financial planners normally help you plan to increase your assets and give investment advice. Life Planning covers everything else! Because we charge a flat fee, our advice is always objective. If we feel you need investment advice, we will recommend a Certified Financial Planner to help with that portion of the plan. Because Life Planning is so comprehensive, it is not unusual for a Life Plan to be 50 pages in length. Since the Plan is so detailed, a proper explanation of what it covers is better done by providing free samples. The areas targeted are customized for each person, but generally include credit scores, credit repair, retirement considerations, practical budgets so that every month you are saving something, and planning for future needs of dependents. For our bankruptcy clients, we generally give free guidance on how to create your own Life Plan. Thus, please feel free to call or e-mail for a free sample Life Plan today.
